I. Position Summary
Lead the Functional Safety section of GCN Mobility by establishing a standardized Deliver Mode, Forecast, Performance Monitoring and Risk Management with relevant mechanism & system.
The role is responsible for expert team operation and financial data achievement, clear management proposals and effective action tracking, while acting as the business owner for the functional safety part about Intelligence & Automation related business.
II. Job Responsibilities
1. Business Operation and Business Strategy Implementation (35%)
Define and continue improving Functional Safety business strategy, shaping business mode, ensure business strategy alignment among business growth, FTE, productivity, subcontracting, investment and BL & BU strategy.
Optimize existing services and scale up the business.
Promote the operational mechanism and resource allocation for the implementation of the adaptation strategy.
2. Performance and Deviation Management (30%)
Monitor key indicators, including Sales, OI, OR, Net Sales, FTE, Net Sales/FTE, Subcontracting Ratio and Margin, etc.
Identify material deviations and emerging trends at an early stage.
Lead root cause and impact analysis with relevant owners
Translate findings into proposals, actions and management decision points.
3. Team and Stakeholder Management (25%)
Lead and develop the Functional Safety team.
Clarify ownership, priorities and delivery standards.
Work closely with business lines, regional sales and support functions.
Present planning, performance and risk topics independently to management.
4. Perform other duties assigned by Reporting Manager (10%)
III. Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Automotive, IT or E&E Engineering, or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in automotive functional safety development. Familiar with E/E architecture, functional safety methodology and common functional safety mechanism, knowledge in autonomous driving would be a plus;
At least 3 years of team leadership experience.
Positive attitude, high level of integrity, willingness to go the extra mile.
Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills.
Networking, negotiation, interpersonal and leadership skills.
