Job Responsibilities
1. Drive cost management activities during the RFQ phase for new Desktop platform development, ensuring cost competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
2. Lead lifecycle cost optimization initiatives for mass production products, identifying and implementing opportunities for cost improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
3. Manage team workload planning, resource allocation, and project execution to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of objectives.
4. Define, monitor, and drive team KPIs, while leading performance management initiatives to support team effectiveness and continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate closely with R\&D, sourcing, and product management teams to facilitate informed decision-making and achieve business goals.
6. Establish and ensure adherence to standardized cost models, methodologies, and operational processes across the team.
Job Requirements
1. Proven experience in cost management, sourcing, product operations, project management, or related functions within the PC, server, ODM, hardware, or relevant technology industries.
2. Demonstrated people management experience with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
3. Strong execution and delivery mindset, with a track record of driving projects and initiatives to successful completion.
4. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across R\&D, sourcing, product, and other business functions.
5. Ability to analyze and interpret cost-related data, translate insights into business decisions, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
6. Familiarity with established cost management processes, frameworks, and operational best practices.
7. Experience in roles such as Cost Manager, Sourcing Manager with team leadership responsibilities, Hardware Delivery Project Manager, or Product Operations Manager within hardware-related environments is highly preferred.
