IVI System Senior Testing Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for designing test strategies, making test plans, overseeing complex functional domains such as OTA, diagnostics, and power management, and capable of leading test risk assessments.
2. Proficient in IVI system testing, having independently conducted functional testing for over 20 modules and completed tasks including functional and regression testing.
3. Set up and maintain test environments, including real vehicles, test benches, or simulators.
Skilled in utilizing mainstream automotive testing tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, version control tools SVN/GIT, flashing tools PCAT/QFILE/E1) and diagnostic services for foundational testing."
4. Independently prepare mind maps, checklist for multiple functions and design test cases covering functional testing, compatibility testing, performance and stability, and fault injection perspectives.
5. Not only accurately reproduce bugs, collaborate with development teams to advance defect resolution, but also lead root cause analysis of defects. Optimise testing processes to enhance team efficiency.
6. Summarize test reports compliant with automotive industry standards and testing summaries: including daily/weekly/milestone reports, module issue summaries, and analysis reports.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Automotive Engineering, Automation, Electronics Communications, Computer Science, or related majors.
2. Experience: Minimum 8 years testing Android phones/tablets/smart cockpit products; participation in at least 2 full vehicle model projects; familiarity with ASPICE/ISO 21434 processes.
3. Strong logical thinking, learning ability, and rigorous closed-loop execution skills.
4. Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong English communication skills (speaking, listening) preferred
- Knowledge of automation script such as Python.
- Understanding of foundational concepts in ASPICE, functional FuSA (ISO 26262), and Cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
