Manufacturing Process Development
(i) Responsible for Design and Development of Mold/stamping tooling and Processes to support new product development.
(ii) Own DFM, PFMEA to optimize product design, process design and tooling design, realize sample tooling and product samples. Determines the most suitable manufacturing concepts related to planned manufacturing quantities, quality requirements and manufacturing location.
(iii) Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and properly transferred to manufacturing upon First Article approval complete with documentation.
(iv) Integrate feedback and lessons learned into new molds and molding processes.
Mold/stamping and Die Casting Development
(i) Evaluate new mold, die casting demand/cost for new projects.
Design and review the Mold/stamping and die casting with core team members meeting TE engineering and EHS requirement.
(ii) Upload all Mold/stamping tooling prints to TE data management system(DM.TEC, PDM Link).
(iii) Discuss and review details of mold/stamping/die casting with outside suppliers.
(iv) Follow up the purchasing process to fabricate new mold/die casting.
Qualification for Manufacturing process, Mold/stamping and Die casting
(i) Condition all mold/stamping, die casting, lead the mold/stamping/die casting qualification by running samples or LVM.
(ii) Follow up the documentations for qualification, using TE standard format and follow up the approval.
Coordinate pilot run for new mold and solve engineering issues, make sure the manufacturing process capability meet engineering, quality and customer requirement.
Technician Guidance
Coach, train and develop operator and technician in order to ensure their technique could be succeed and get continuous upgraded.
