Job Requirements
Serve as a strategic advisor and partner for retail management in China, with a holistic understanding of commercial issues specific to the local market and Ingka globally, while partnering with stakeholders across the Chinese retail organization and globally to increase adoption of analytics and actionable insights.
Accountable for the overall performance, development, and continuous optimization of the team within IKEA CHINA, ensuring execution of Retail-relevant elements of the Data Strategy.
Accountable for the delivery of strategic insights, actionable business recommendations (beyond tactical and day-to-day), and omnichannel sales steering solutions. Lead the adoption of advanced analytics & insights products and data-driven ways of working within IKEA CHINA and in alignment with Global Retail.
To establish and refine processes and best practices, driving consistency, efficiency, and impact in delivering insights and analytics.
Co-develop and champion relevant up-/re-skilling programs focused on enhancing the analytical depth, business acumen, and consulting skills of the team.
Key previous experiences and proven skills
Master’s degree qualifications in business, computer science, econometrics, mathematics or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of progressive and diverse experience in strategic analytics, with a significant portion ideally gained within a top-tier management consulting firm
Minimum 5 years of experience actively leading and driving company transformation and change management initiatives, demonstrating tangible impact.
Exceptional documented leadership and people development skills, including leading and developing large or high-performing teams in complex, matrixed environments.
Proven ability to attract, retain, and elevate talent.
Highly preferred: Significant experience in the Chinese retail and/or eCommerce sector and/or leading digital product development teams.
Strong understanding of the unique dynamics of the Chinese consumer and market.
