About the Business

Our team in Accounting and Reporting Assurance focus on addressing issues and risks relating to accounting and financial reporting, assurance needs, risk assessment, and enhancing their internal controls to mitigate risks effectively. Your work will involve performing internal audit, providing advice and solutions to help organisations navigate complex risks, enhance their internal controls to mitigate risks effectively and establish internal control system.

Work you'll do

Work as a team member to provide high-quality execution of advisory projects for clients across a wide range of industries, including consumer, high-tech, manufacturing and other industries
Conduct US SOX readiness or operating effectiveness assistance to client
Conduct internal audits and process reviews on clients' systems, processes, procedures, and areas of concern to address risks
Establish internal control system and assist client drafting policy manual or redesign processes
Identify and provide constructive and fit-for-purpose recommendations to clients for improvement
Work with team members and prepare draft internal audits/advisory reports and presentation materials
Conduct research, provide support and participate in sales and business development activities
Collaborate with other member firms and service lines within Deloitte

During your tenure with us, you will demonstrate and develop your leadership and professional capabilities in the following areas: Inspiring, Creating purpose, Driving agility, Building diverse capability, Influencing, Collaborating, Delivering value, Building the business, Analytical acumen, Effective communication, Engagement management/delivery excellence, Managing change, Managing quality & risk, Strategic thinking and problem solving, and Tech savviness.

We are looking for someone with

Bachelor or Master degree of any disciplines, preferably with a degree in Accounting, Business or other related disciplines relevant to the role
Certification in CIA/CPA is preferred but not a must;
Experience in US SOX advisory, internal audit, internal controls review, risk assessment, risk management, compliance review gained in a multi-national corporation, publicly-listed company or professional services firm is an advantage;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin and ability to communicate confidently in a clear and concise manner;
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high commitment to providing quality client service;
Mature, proactive and self-motivating, a fast learner, reliable team player and ability to work under pressure;
Has a problem solving and analytical mindset and is able to research questions and present a well-supported opinion
