About the role
The FP&A Manager, China is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management processes for the China business.
The role provides high-quality financial insight and analysis to support the Finance Director, Greater China and broader regional finance and leadership teams, enabling informed decision-making acting as a key partner to the regional business to support performance optimisation and delivery of financial targets.
Management Reporting & Insights
- Deliver high-quality monthly reporting for China leadership, with clear, decision-focused insights
- Develop financial insights and recommendations in partnership with the Finance Director, Greater China and the Regional Financial Controller to support business decisions
- Support preparation of inputs into Group reporting, including half-year and full-year processes
- Simplify complex financial data into clear and compelling narratives
Business Partnering
- Primary business partner to the Finance Director, Greater China, supporting delivery against commercial and financial objectives
- Provide insight on performance drivers, pricing, investment decisions and profitability
- Shape financial narratives for regional performance, including risks and opportunities
IBP & Cross-Functional Planning
- Lead regional financial inputs into the long-term strategic plan (e.g. 5-Year Plan), ensuring alignment to Group assumptions
- Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes across the region
- Ensure financial alignment across demand, supply and financial plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and opportunities early
Group Alignment & Consolidation
- Ensure the implementation of group wide best practice FP&A processes, timelines and governance
- Provide accurate, timely inputs into Group consolidation and reporting cycles
- Partner with Group FP&A to ensure consistency of assumptions and outputs
Process Improvement & Systems
- Partner with TBS and Group Finance to ensure accuracy, completeness and continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting outputs
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation and data quality
- Work with systems (e.g. PBCS, HFM, Power BI) to improve reporting capability and self-service analytics
Leadership & Capability
- Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity and continuous improvement
- Build capability in financial analysis, business partnering and storytelling
Act as a role model for collaboration across Finance and the broader business

About you
- Bachelor degree in Finance/ Accounting or above, CPA Preferred
- 6+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance or related roles
- Experience in a large, complex or multinational organisation preferred
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capability
- Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
- Proven ability to partner with and influence stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into insights
- Systems experience (e.g. Hyperion, PBCS, Power BI) desirable
