Support new and existing products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
What You Will Do
1.
With some guidance from Sr. Engineers and manager, lead related team member on new product process design and development as well as existing product extension management, to develop competitive products to the target market.
2.
Responsible for the continuous improvements of the assigned product process platforms.
3.
Provides technical support to customers, suppliers and inside personnel.
4.
Provides technical support to product line on efficiency /capacity/quality improvement
5.
Coordinates product activities with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality using the engineering change request (EC O ) procedures.
6.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management .
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in applied physics, optical engineering, or optical oriented mechanical, electrical, and material sciences.
- 3+ years product process development or engineering experience in optical related industry
- Familiar with optical components and optical modules or System
- Experimental data analysis & SPC capability
- Design of experiments (DOE) capability
- DFMEA/PFMEA analysis capability
