We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise data platforms that enable advanced analytics, business intelligence, and AI-driven transformation.
As a Senior Data Architect, you will define and guide enterprise data architecture strategies that support customers’ digital transformation goals. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery specialists to design scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms. This role combines strategic architecture leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and mentoring to help customers turn complex data needs into impactful business outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the design and evolution of enterprise data architectures across ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and consumption layers.
- Defining data platform strategies using modern cloud, analytics, and data technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
- Establishing architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for data quality, security, scalability, and performance.
- Translating complex business requirements into robust data architecture solutions that support analytics, BI, and AI use cases.
- Providing technical leadership through architecture reviews, solution validation, risk assessment, and delivery guidance.
- Mentoring data engineers and architects while contributing to reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and capability-building initiatives.
- Experience leading data architecture design for enterprise environments and large-scale data platform initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data ecosystems, including data lakes, data warehouses, and batch or real-time processing architectures.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, data quality, data security, and scalable architecture practices.
- Proficiency in data engineering languages or tools such as SQL, Python, Scala, or similar technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain architecture decisions to technical and business audiences.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance performance, cost, scalability, governance, and business value.
