- Optimize PCBA manufacturing processes and equipment, including SMT, Wave Soldering, and Selective Soldering, to improve quality, efficiency, and process stability.
- Manage the selection, installation, commissioning, and lifecycle management of PCBA production equipment.
- Lead automation equipment and production line projects to enhance productivity, quality, and manufacturing flexibility.
- Drive equipment integration with MES and other manufacturing systems to enable digitalized and traceable production management.
- Establish and improve preventive maintenance (PM) and equipment reliability programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Analyze equipment performance data to improve OEE, reduce downtime, and increase productivity.
- Support Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, and IT teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote safety culture and improve machine guarding, electrical safety, and workplace safety standards.
- Develop and implement automation and digitalization solutions, including real-time data collection and analytics, to support operational excellence and business decisions.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in equipment engineering within the PCBA industry; experience in Wave Soldering processes is preferred.
- Proven track record in independently leading automation equipment selection, implementation, commissioning, and project management.
- Solid knowledge of PCBA manufacturing equipment, including operation principles, maintenance, and equipment management.
- Experience with MES, equipment connectivity, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT) is preferred.
- Experience participating in Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing initiatives.
- Strong data analysis skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI is preferred.
- Strong execution, problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
