We are currently seeking for an experienced systems engineering leader with a passion for solving complex technical challenges and shaping next-generation connected devices, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on products used by millions of adult consumers worldwide.
Your ‘day to day’
As a Principal Design System Engineer, you will ensure the design integrity of the device system and is accountable to the Program Manager (PM) for meeting all functional performance, quality, and safety/compliance requirements throughout the NPI/NPD process. You will serve as the technical authority for system architecture, integration, and design integrity across multiple NPI/NPD programs. You will drive system-level decisions from concept through commercialization, ensuring products meet performance, quality, manufacturability, compliance, and consumer requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Lead system architecture, integration, and technical strategy across multiple product platforms and development programs.

Own and govern Design Input Requirements (DIR), ensuring alignment with product, consumer, and business objectives.

Translate consumer insights and business requirements into robust system specifications and design solutions.

Drive system-level trade-off decisions balancing performance, quality, reliability, cost, schedule, and manufacturability.

Serve as the lead system architect from PoC through EVT, DVT, and production readiness, ensuring delivery of all engineering milestones.

Partner with Product Line Leaders, Program Managers, Operations, Quality, and EMS partners to execute successful NPI/NPD programs.

Lead technical risk assessments, architecture reviews, root cause investigations, and product improvement initiatives.

Act as the senior technical escalation point for platform issues and post-launch engineering support activities.

Drive engineering standards, best practices, and governance processes across Design System Engineering.

Influence future technology roadmaps, platform strategies, and system architecture decisions.
Who We're Looking For
-
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related disciplines.

Extensive experience in system-level product development within consumer electronics, IoT, or connected device environments.

Proven experience leading system architecture and integration activities for complex NPI/NPD programs.

Strong understanding of systems engineering, requirements management, product lifecycle development, and system verification.

Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions across cross-functional and global teams.

Experience working with OEM/ODM/EMS manufacturing partners.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Fluent in English and Mandarin
