Job Overview And Responsibility
This position managing cargo transportation from China to Russia and Customs Union countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, and beyond). This role sits on the China side: you are the freight procurement and coordination hub for all FTL road shipments originating in China.
Build and maintain a structured database of FTL transport service providers across China.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with carrier companies to deliver cost effective, reliable road freight solutions.
Co ordinate FTL shipments from China to Russia and other Customs Union destinations, including transshipment at border crossings.
Ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations; monitor and reconcile mutual settlements.
Handle claims and disputes arising from supplier operations; represent LLC Transit s interests in resolution.
Monitor the China TLS market continuously — rate trends, route developments, capacity shifts — and report relevant updates to the Russian team regularly.
Respond to inbound freight requests from the Import Logistics Department of LLC Transit with speed and accuracy.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in FTL freight transportation within China (trucking, not container/FCL).
Direct working experience with Chinese carrier companies as a forwarder or dispatcher.
Proven active network of transport contractors in China
Ability to process and execute freight requests end to end under time pressure.
Written English proficiency sufficient for coordination with Russian colleagues via text or email (spoken English not required).
Prefer if candidate have Experience:
With international FTL or cross border road shipments, particularly China–Russia or China–Central Asia routes is a plus.
Import operations background.
