On behalf of our client, a fast-growing Gaming company, we are seeking a dynamic International Payment Product Manager.
The International Payment Product Manager will be responsible for the planning and implementation of core products, including overseas acquiring, cross-border payments, merchant backend systems, and clearing and settlement. This role requires a deep understanding of overseas payment business scenarios, translating client needs, compliance requirements, and technical solutions into actionable product capabilities to support global business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct requirements analysis and product design for modules including acquiring, collection/disbursement (agency payments), payment gateways, merchant backends, clearing and settlement, reconciliation, and chargeback management.
- Deliver tailored client payment solutions across cross-border e-commerce, gaming, SaaS, foreign trade, and other key industries.
- Lead the productization, integration, and optimization of payment channels (banks, third-party payment providers, card schemes, local wallets, etc.).
- Design core workflows including merchant onboarding, transaction routing, multi-currency settlement, account reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
- Produce standard product documentation, including PRDs, flowcharts, wireframes, and business rules.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, operations, finance, compliance, risk control, and other cross-functional teams to drive efficient product launches and iterations.
- Continuously optimize product performance and user experience based on data metrics such as transaction volume, success rates, and refund rates.
- Track overseas market trends and competitor activities to enhance product competitiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Finance, Computer Science, E-Commerce, International Trade, or related fields preferred.
- 3+ years of product management experience; prior experience in cross-border payments, overseas acquiring, third-party payments, or clearing and settlement systems is preferred. Candidates with experience building payment products from 0 to 1 are highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the end-to-end cross-border payment lifecycle (onboarding, transactions, settlement, reconciliation, risk control, etc.).
- Knowledge of mainstream payment methods such as Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, and local wallets, as well as routing logic and multi-currency settlement mechanisms.
- Strong product planning, requirements analysis, and documentation skills (PRDs, flowcharts, wireframes).
- Excellent cross-departmental communication and project management abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics for continuous optimization.
- Fluent in Chinese and English.
