We are looking for a Move Coordinator who is FLUENT IN SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH. Are you goal/task completion oriented, organized, excellent with details, honest, and hard working? Are you capable of working alone and following through to completion on many assignments at the same time without forgetting things? Are you good at problem solving? Are you personable via telephone and email in English? Could you be happy at "a high-pressure desk job" working for a demanding foreign boss?
This position is a desk job and requires you to coordinate the packing, customs clearance, export, and delivery overseas of household goods. You will work in a VERY FAST PACED environment requiring you to work with our operations department, sales staff, foreign customers by phone, shipping lines, and agents overseas. You need excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with foreign clients, other staff, agents overseas by telephone, email, and fax. You must be very good at working in a very very detailed fashion for documentation. You'll need to handle customer complaints who can be angry at times, document each step of communication and preparation, solve problems, handle stress well, be able to work on Saturdays half day, manage chaos, operate unemotionally, and do the same thing all over the very next day. It is a challenging and rewarding job for those who can operate effectively. Past relative experience preferred but not required.
