We are looking for an experienced China Sourcing & Export Executive who can communicate fluently in Malayalam, Mandarin Chinese and English and has practical work experience in China.
The candidate will support our planned China trading and sourcing operations, working closely with our UAE head office.
Key Responsibilities
- Source chemicals, raw materials and general commodities from manufacturers across China.
- Communicate and negotiate directly with Chinese factories and suppliers in Mandarin.
- Obtain and compare quotations, payment terms, credit facilities, production lead times and shipment schedules.
- Identify reliable manufacturers and conduct basic supplier/factory verification.
- Develop long-term relationships with Chinese suppliers.
- Coordinate samples, specifications, COA, MSDS/SDS and other technical documents.
- Coordinate export shipments from Chinese factories directly to customers in UAE, GCC, Africa and other international markets.
- Work with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs/export agents.
- Support the establishment and day-to-day coordination of our new trading company in China.
- Coordinate with company-registration consultants, banks, accountants and government/licensing agencies when required.
- Maintain supplier databases, quotations, purchase records and sourcing reports.
- Regularly update the UAE management team regarding market prices, new suppliers, product availability and opportunities.
Preferred Candidate
- Fluent in Malayalam and Mandarin Chinese (MUST)
- Good working knowledge of English.(MUST)
- Indian nationality preferred.
- Previous working experience in China strongly preferred.
- Currently based in China or UAE.
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, international trading or export operations.
- Experience dealing directly with Chinese factories and suppliers.
- Knowledge of Chinese business culture and negotiation practices.
- Chemical industry experience will be a major advantage.
- Knowledge of hazardous chemicals, solvents, detergent raw materials, inks, paints, industrial chemicals or similar products is preferred.
- Understanding of Chinese export procedures, shipping and international trade documentation is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication and follow-up skills.
- Willingness to travel within China for supplier and factory visits.

Role Objective
The main objective of this position is to act as our local sourcing and export representative in China, identify competitive and reliable suppliers, negotiate better prices and credit terms, and coordinate direct exports from Chinese factories to our customers worldwide.
