Job Summary
The connection between Telit purchasing team and EMS, coordinate with EMS/suppliers/CM to make sure the material supply to meet revenue/business demands.
Objectives & Responsibilities
- Drive EMS for continual improvement in support all SCM related issues.
- Orchestration of the new system implementation that related to the handling of the two EMS.
- Balance EMS excess and shortage with suppliers.
- Handle daily EMS issue for all purchasing related things to support production and planning team to achieve build plan.
- Be the key contact with the EMS to monitor the performance, take or propose due actions to address out of lines issues.
- Relationship management for the EMS to ensure new initials on purchasing could be deployed effective and implemented with full support.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, English, International Economics and Trade or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a Buyer Planner role.
- Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Fluent with written and Oral English and Chinese.
- Proficient in SAP system, MS office, especially excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferably with exposure to EMS/ODM environments in the electronics industry.
- Knowledge in IBP, Qlikview is a plus.
