Primary Purpose of Job (Job Summary)
This role serves as a strategic leader driving the scaling and value acceleration of Roche’s AI and digital healthcare solutions from “10 to 100.” You will lead a hybrid team of AI Solution Catalyst Managers and Incubator& Partnership Managers to expand application scenarios, accelerate ecosystem adoption, and strengthen Roche’s leadership positioning in AI& Digital
healthcare through ecosystem collaboration and innovation initiatives. The mandate is anchored in two core pillars:
1. AI Solution Value Amplification& Scaling
Accelerating the adoption, expansion, and measurable value realization of Roche’s established AI and digital solutions across internal and external healthcare ecosystems.
2. Ecosystem Architecture& Policy Shaping
Building strategic partnerships, influencing healthcare innovation dialogue, and shaping policy and ecosystem mechanisms that enable sustainable AI healthcare transformation.
Principle Roles Responsibilities / Accountabilities
1. AI Solution Value Amplification& Scaling
Lead the strategic scaling and value acceleration of Roche AI and digital healthcare solutions by expanding application scenarios, accelerating ecosystem adoption, and establishing scalable value realization models.
➢Scaling Strategy, Scenario Expansion& Product Generalization:
Drive the “10 to 100” scaling strategy for Roche AI and digital solutions by identifying scalable application scenarios, healthcare customer groups, and ecosystem opportunities, while translating successful pilots into reusable healthcare solution models.
➢Customer Adoption& Value Realization:
Drive the adoption and integration of Roche AI solutions across hospitals, HCPs, and ecosystem partners through effective deployment strategies, value demonstration frameworks, and measurable clinical and business impact validation.
➢Strategic Storytelling& Scaling Optimization:
Translate complex AI capabilities into compelling healthcare and business narratives while leveraging real-world insights and ecosystem feedback to continuously optimize solution positioning and scaling strategy.
2. Ecosystem Architecture, Policy Shaping& Healthcare Value Acceleration
Architect and orchestrate a sustainable healthcare innovation ecosystem that accelerates AI solution value release through strategic partnerships, ecosystem collaboration, innovation platforms, and policy engagement.
➢Healthcare Ecosystem Architecture& Digital Intelligence Incubator Leadership:
Build strategic collaborations with hospitals, academic institutions and other ecosystem stakeholders. Through the Digital Intelligence Incubator, connect healthcare scenarios, validation resources, ecosystem partners to accelerate solution maturation and value realization.
➢Healthcare Value Model Exploration& Policy Shaping:
Explore innovative healthcare value frameworks, collaboration mechanisms, reimbursement pathways, and policy engagement opportunities that unlock sustainable value creation for patients and healthcare systems.
➢Innovation Platform, External Engagement& Thought Leadership:
Lead ecosystem collaborations, and strategic engagement initiatives [e.g., WAIC, CIIE…] to strengthen Roche’s leadership positioning in AI& Digital healthcare and identify future ecosystem opportunities.
3. Team Leadership& Capability Development
Manage and mentor a hybrid team composed of AI Solution Catalyst Managers and Incubator& Partnership Managers to accelerate AI solution scaling, ecosystem collaboration, and healthcare value realization.
➢ Team Synergy:
Foster strong collaboration between the “Value Amplification” side (solution scaling, application scenario expansion, customer adoption, and value demonstration) and the “Ecosystem& Partnership” side (incubator operation, ecosystem collaboration, policy engagement, and external innovation platforms), breaking down silos to create a unified value acceleration engine.
➢ Strategic Leadership& Alignment:
Guide the team in aligning AI solution scaling priorities with broader Roche AI& Digital healthcare strategies, ensuring coordinated execution across internal business units and external ecosystem stakeholders.
➢ Talent Development:
Coach team members on business acumen, healthcare ecosystem understanding, strategic partnership development, innovation scaling methodologies, and digital healthcare product value realization, building a high-performance team capable of navigating complex matrix environments.
Qualification and Experience
Education/Qualifications
1. Master’s degree or above in Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Digital Health, or related fields. An MBA is preferred.
2. 7+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on Medical Affairs, Digital Transformation, or Business Excellence
3. Experience in Healthcare Innovation, Digital Transformation, Healthcare Strategy, or Ecosystem Partnership Management.

Proven experience building and orchestrating complex healthcare innovation ecosystems involving hospitals, technology partners, academic institutions, and healthcare organizations.

Ability to engage and influence senior healthcare leaders, ecosystem stakeholders, and cross-functional business leaders through compelling strategic narratives and value articulation.
