Research and determine new technical platform used in new product, lead develop new and existing products that meets or exceed customer expectations. Support manager on skill improvement and platform management. Provide technical support for all projects in development, product testing, generates models, 2-D, Engineering changes, technical documents etc
What You Will Do
New technology platform research and technical reserves
Provides technical support to all new projects development, lead to solve difficult problems during projects development.
Provides technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
With some guidance from manager, develops new product design and manage product extension.
Familiar with the design process. Familiar with using work breakdown tools to split design tasks.
Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
Performs design verification activities to ensure that design meets the specifications of the customer and UL requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Master's degree in Optics, Physics or Optical Engineering
- 8+ years' work experience in passive components
- Proficient in Gaussian beam theory and application
- Strong problem-solving capabilities on optical design and process optimization: polarization optics simulation, hermetical sealing process, adhesive process, thermal insulation
- Proficient in Zemax, CODE-V, Matlab or other simulation tools to model optical products
- emonstrated ability to analyze information and solve problems with sound solutions

- Design experience of optical products
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Familiar with the characteristics and use of various adhesives
