Role Overview
This role is responsible for creating and modifying 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software such as Siemens NX or SolidWorks to support product development and engineering projects. The position requires strong attention to detail, solid CAD design experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient design execution.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and update 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks).

Maintain design documentation in compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

Collaborate with engineers to resolve design challenges and improve manufacturability.

Prepare and manage CAD data for prototyping, tooling, and production.

Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on feasibility.

Ensure proper version control and data management within PLM systems.

Assist in the creation of BOMs and related manufacturing documentation.
Qualifications
Education

Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Work Experience

Required:

Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design

Preferred:

Experience designing optical components, passive/active modules, optical or electronic connectors, or precision devices

Experience with assembly line fixtures and jigs
Skills & Competencies
Required

Minimum 2 years of CAD design experience, preferably with Siemens NX or SolidWorks

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes

Proficiency in 3D modeling, drafting, and assembly design

Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Familiarity with general telecommunication standards

Understanding of material properties (metal, glass, ceramics), manufacturing methods, and surface treatment techniques

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Preferred

CET-6 or above, or equivalent English proficiency

Good reading and writing skills, with adequate verbal communication ability
