Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software, or cloud environment.
Experience with leading teams in a cloud-based Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment.
Experience in promoting cloud-based IT solutions to companies in the Greater China market with engineers and customer technical leads.
Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently in order to communicate in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in people and business management, supporting career development of sales teams, and business growth.
Experience in planning and organizing go-to-market strategies, business programs, and sales activity within the team and territory.
Experience in leveraging knowledge of related products, solutions, and market trends, with the ability to analyze sales performance data or market changes, to drive direction.
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to impact business goals, customer experience, and customer expansion.
Excellent problem solving, communication, presentation and program management skills.

About the job

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for growing the strategic products business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will build relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Field Sales, Customer Engineering, Solution Architecture, Product) and customers, supporting the team to do the same. You will ensure the team has the necessary promotion skills to demonstrate product functionality and overviews of business use cases, and close business. You will lead with empathy and identify ways to multiply the impact of the team to drive value for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain executive relationships with customers as the Google strategic product subject matter expert with the team, and influence direction for new and existing customers.
Work cross-functionally with Google Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSR), Customer Engineer (CE) teams, Field Solution Architects (FSA) to ensure the product adoption, customer satisfaction and business growth.
Execute Go-To-Market business strategy and related efforts with the Google Cloud teams and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) partners.
Support the team to assist customers in identifying the use cases suitable for Google Cloud strategic products and solutions, ensure transition and a path to production. Articulate solution differentiators and the business impact.
Coach the team to identify and grab opportunities and strategic products bookings, manage business pipelines, and accelerate business growth.
