Position summary - We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Product Owner to drive product feature delivery within an Agile Scrum environment. The Product Owner will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, UX designers, and QA engineers to define product requirements, prioritize backlog items,and driving continuous improvement.

Reports TO – Senior Manager - Product & Design Management

TEAM STRUCTURE – Report Senior Manager - Product & Design Management who reports to SVP and Head of Product Innovation GSR, has other PO as peers, belong innovation team, internally work close to developing team, externally product marketing team from different regions,, etc.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES - (Using e.g. bullet points, identify the detailed aspects and specific responsibilities of the role. Break down all day-to-day activities, including any details about software they may need to use and KPIs they will need to consider)

Support the creation, maintenance, and prioritization of the product backlog.
Write and update user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
Assist in backlog refinement sessions to ensure stories are ready for development.
Track feature progress and maintain accurate backlog status in Jira.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
Document business needs and functional specifications in Confluence.
Assist with analyzing customer feedback and enhancement requests.
Maintain clear and organized product documentation in Confluence.
Create meeting notes, process documentation, release notes, and decision logs.
Build understanding of both business processes and technical solutions.
Contribute to a collaborative and customer-focused team culture.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS (Explain the parameters of the role responsibilities. Expectations could refer to measurable elements - like timeframes, growth or goals)

Produce clear, concise, and testable user stories with minimal guidance.
Keep backlog information accurate and up to date.
Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders.
Learn the product domain and become a trusted contributor within the team.
Maintain high-quality documentation and knowledge sharing through Confluence.
Continuously improve product management, business analysis, and Agile skills.
Stay informed about industry trends and product management best practices

Selection criteria, Relevant Knowledge, and competencies – (For the role, specify relevant knowledge, competencies and experience that is needed, e.g: Educational background, technical skills, technological knowledge - details of relevant experience, - skills required for the role, -most relevant leadership dimensions)

Must Have:

Bachelor's or above degree in Science and Engineering, or a related field.

1+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.

Understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Ability to work independently and autonomously, with strong self-motivation and initiative.

Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, CSPO, etc.).

Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).

Fluent in English for both reading and writing

Preferred to have:

Experience with IOT industry

International experience preferred

Required competencies and soft skills

Agile working methods，Communication skills, Result orientation, continuous improvement.
