Director Sales I – Industrial Solutions Aftermarket and Service (APAC)
The Director Sales I is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and strategic direction for Industrial Solutions Aftermarket and Service across the APAC region. This role oversees a large, multi-disciplinary team comprising outbound sales representatives, inside sales professionals, key account managers, and the product management team.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Industrial Solutions, Aftermarket and Service, this leader ensures alignment with Donaldson's strategic objectives and delivers impactful results across sales and product portfolios.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in Industrial Solutions Aftermarket and Service sales across APAC.
- Achieve or exceed revenue and profitability goals through effective planning, execution, and collaboration.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large, regionally distributed team.
- Foster a culture of high performance and accountability through coaching, goal setting, and professional development.
- Collaborate with and manage the product management team to ensure alignment between customer needs, product development, and market strategies.
- Provide input on product innovation and lifecycle management to ensure competitive positioning and customer satisfaction.
- Cultivate relationships with key industrial customers, ensuring a solution-oriented sales approach.
- Act as the voice of the customer, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders to enhance products and services.
- Tailor go-to-market strategies for APAC, including channel strategy.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Work closely with global counterparts to ensure alignment and leverage best practices.
- Contribute to the overall success of Donaldson’s Industrial Solutions.
- Willingness and ability to travel within APAC (up to 50%).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of sales experience in industrial markets or filtration solutions.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience managing large, diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success in managing and growing sales organizations.
- Expertise in industrial aftermarket and service sales.
- Strong strategic mindset with experience in solution selling and customer relationship management.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and an additional APAC regional language is highly desirable.
