INTRODUCTION
We are seeking a Senior R&D Engineer to join our Technology Department team. You will be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of cone series products, including new product design, technical upgrades, product-related technical support, technical documentation management, and market information collection and feedback.
In this role, you will play an important part in strengthening the competitiveness, reliability, and performance of our cone series crushing equipment. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from feasibility studies, prototype development, trial production, testing, and validation to technical issue resolution and continuous product improvement.
This position is located in Shaoguan, Guangdong, and reports to the Engineering Manager.
TEAM YOU BELONG TO
You will join the Technology Department, a team of experienced R&D, engineering, and product specialists focused on mining machinery and cone series crushing equipment. The team is dedicated to developing competitive, reliable, and sustainable product solutions that meet customer needs across different applications and operating conditions.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as production, quality, sourcing, sales, after-sales service, customers, suppliers, and global engineering teams. Our team culture is built on collaboration, technical excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead the development of new cone series products to strengthen product competitiveness, performance, and customer value.
- Prepare feasibility studies and design proposals for new products, and follow up on prototype development, trial production, testing, and validation.
- Drive technical improvements and maintenance of existing products to enhance reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, and lifecycle performance.
- Provide technical guidance and practical solutions for product issues arising during production, commissioning, and after-sales service.
- Analyze technical problems under different operating conditions and propose sustainable engineering solutions.
- Monitor industry technologies, market trends, and customer feedback to support product innovation and strategic planning for related product lines.
- Manage and maintain product technical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, traceability, and information security.
- Apply engineering analysis methods, including finite element analysis and discrete element analysis, to support product design and optimization.
- Support product lifecycle management activities, including design updates, product standardization, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete other technical tasks within the scope of the role as assigned by the supervisor.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of R&D experience in mining machinery or main equipment development.
- Strong experience in cone series crushing equipment development, with the ability to independently develop complete product solutions.
- Solid knowledge of product lifecycle management and production process design for mining machinery products.
- Proficient in mechanical drawing and skilled in using 2D design software such as CAD and CAXA.
- Skilled in using 3D design software such as SolidWorks for product design.
- Experienced in finite element analysis and discrete element analysis for parts and product optimization.
- Familiar with cone series product applications and able to solve technical issues under different working conditions.
- Able to understand different customer needs and translate market feedback into product improvement opportunities.
- Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for daily communication.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, rigorous, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Able to uphold professional principles and protect company confidential information.
