We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Specialist to drive risk management and compliance initiatives within our China sales organization. This role sits at the intersection of sales operations, data governance, and regulatory compliance — ensuring our sales processes, seller activities, and pipeline management adhere to internal policies and external regulations.
Key job responsibilities
Owns data governance, process design, tool permission management, and AGL seller booking governance, establishing scalable operational guardrails.
Own and evolve the risk management framework for AGL seller lifecycle: onboarding risk scoring, credit limit governance, pricing exception controls, and churn prediction
Own the documentation and enforcement of sales SOPs — approval workflows, deal desk governance, exception handling
Own the end-to-end risk intelligence framework by building real-time risk and compliance reporting, uncovering business insights, predicting emerging risks, and driving cross-functional mitigation plans.
Work closely and lead cross-functional risk reviews (monthly/quarterly) with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product; present findings and recommendations to Director/VP stakeholders
- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in sales operations, risk management, compliance, trade compliance, or internal audit — ideally in logistics, e-commerce, or cross-border trade
- Demonstrated ability to build programs from scratch and influence senior leadership without direct authority
- Strong quantitative skills: SQL proficiency, advanced Excel modeling, experience with AI tools -
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- MBA or master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
