As a Lead Client Partner, Gaming & Apps, you will serve as a strategic visionary, developing and growing trusted relationships with top-tier clients through your deep expertise in full-funnel sales. By leveraging your nuanced understanding of Gaming and Apps businesses, you will independently engage assigned customer accounts to promote Pinterest products effectively. Your primary responsibilities include meeting performance targets, developing new business, maintaining and expanding customer relationships, and resolving specific customer issues. By guiding clients' efforts, you'll drive value for millions of Pinners seeking inspiration and action, forming strategic alliances both internally and externally.
Success in this role depends on your ability to build trusted partnerships, drive substantial revenue growth and spearhead a vision for long-term client success in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for a portfolio of top Gaming & Apps advertisers, driving sustained revenue growth and measurable business outcomes on Pinterest.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships across client and agency stakeholders, including executive decision-makers in Marketing, Media, Strategy, and Tech.
- Develop full-funnel sales strategies spanning awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention, tailored to the goals of Gaming and Apps advertisers.
- Identify and win new business opportunities across existing and prospective accounts, including expansion into new budget pools, objectives, and lines of business.
- Champion Pinterest's full suite of advertising solutions — including upper-funnel brand, lower-funnel performance, and AI-powered products — at the executive level, translating platform innovation into business value for clients.
- Act as the primary senior contact to assemble cross-functional units across Measurement & Insights, Performance Solutions, Creative Strategy, Product, Engineering and Policy.
- Integrate AI thoughtfully into account strategy and sales motions to improve productivities, and elevate client communications while maintaining strong judgment and quality.
- 10+ years of experience in digital advertising, media sales, performance marketing, or client-facing strategic roles, with a track record of managing complex partnerships and exceeding revenue targets.
- Deep expertise in Gaming and/or Apps advertising, with a clear understanding of app ecosystem and growth drivers for export-focused advertisers operating in and from Greater China.
- Proven ability to build and grow senior executive relationships (c-suits and VPs) across advertisers and agencies.
- Exceptional consultative selling and negotiation skills, including experience leading annual deal conversations, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and creating mutual accountability with partners.
- Challenger mindset and executive presence, with willingness to challenge assumptions, and guide decision-makers toward better strategic outcomes.
- Platform and ecosystem fluency across digital advertising, including social, search, app performance, and/or measurement platforms; familiarity with Pinterest Ads Manager and comparable platforms is highly desirable.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs, with a track record of mobilizing teams across Product, Engineering, Measurement, Creative, and Sales to solve open-ended client challenges.
- Ability to influence and co-build product development, ideally through direct partnership with Product and Engineering teams to represent client needs and shape platform capabilities.
- AI fluency across account strategy and sales motions to uncover insights, sharpen strategic narratives, and show up as a strong, trusted advisor while maintaining sound judgment and a high bar for quality.
- Fluency in both Business Mandarin and English is required for business purposes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- As such, this role will need to be in the office or in front of our customers for in-person collaboration, typically 2 days per week, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance to our Singapore City based office.
