Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional certifications are considered an advantage
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, export control, customs compliance, or international trade.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, high-tech manufacturing, or multinational companies preferred.
- Practical experience managing export licensing, product classification, and sanctions compliance.
Technical Knowledge
o Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
o International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
o Economic sanctions and embargo regulations
o Customs and international trade regulations
o Product classification systems (ECCN, HS Code, etc.)
o Export licensing processes
o Technology transfer controls
