Job Title – Commercial Manager OU China
Location – Shanghai, China
This position is part of the Solutions business (Solco) within Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH). This is one of the two standalone entities to be created from ANH, as part of the divestment to CVC Capital.
Your key responsibilities

Develop and drive pricing strategies for the China business, including price positioning, portfolio pricing, profitability optimization, discount frameworks, and pricing governance to support sustainable business growth.

Partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to align pricing initiatives with commercial objectives, brand positioning, and long-term business targets.

Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, customer purchasing behavior, and margin performance to identify opportunities, mitigate pricing risks, and recommend strategic actions.

Support business planning processes by contributing to sales forecasting, budget development, target setting, market assessments, and opportunity/risk evaluations.

Lead pricing approval processes and oversee commercial governance, including customer agreements, rebate programs, surcharge waivers, customer onboarding approvals, and credit-related decisions.

Coach and support sales teams through customer visits, trainings, and performance reviews while driving commercial excellence, promotional activities, and market development initiatives.

You bring
-
Bachelor's degree or above in Science, Engineering, Finance, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Business Management, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing management, sales, marketing, or commercial management, preferably within the animal nutrition, feed additive, premix, or related industry.

Strong knowledge of pricing strategy, marketing, market intelligence, profitability management, and commercial planning.

Solid understanding of the feed, animal nutrition, feed additive, premix, or vitamin concentrate market in China is highly preferred.

Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, problem-solving, and key account management skills, with experience leading projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in business systems such as SAP, IBP, and related commercial tools, with excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
