主要职责

向大中华区知识产权负责人汇报，与士卓曼集团研发团队保持紧密合作，识别具有专利价值的创新成果，并分析所负责技术领域内潜在的第三方知识产权风险。
- 负责数字化口腔及种植牙相关技术领域全球专利和外观设计组合的管理，包括知识产权的申请、答复、维护及保护，并与国内外专利代理机构密切合作。
工作内容

评估发明披露，组织专利申请的撰写与提交工作。
- 负责全球知识产权组合的申请、审查、维护及权利保护工作。
- 与中国及海外外部专利代理机构开展合作。
- 监测知识产权竞争态势，分析竞争对手及其他第三方知识产权，并开展专利组合评估。
- 与创新团队合作，支持早期外部创新项目的发掘与评估，并为研发项目及并购项目提供知识产权支持。
- 实操或评估第三方的专利检索工作。
- 分析知识产权风险，为研发项目提供自由实施（FTO）分析及专利法律意见。
- 提升公司专利保护意识，推动专利文化建设。
- 支持公司知识产权流程的落实，通过 IP Academy 开展知识产权培训，提升组织整体知识产权意识。

支持中国地区专利及其他知识产权诉讼相关工作。
任职要求
-
理工科本科或以上学历，电气工程专业优先，对现代数字化口腔技术中的机械及数字化技术具有一定理解。
- 扎实的技术理解能力，具备良好的跨团队沟通能力，能够同时管理多项任务并合理安排优先级。
- 具有 2–6 年企业知识产权部门和/或专利代理机构工作经验。

需持有中国专利代理师资格，具有中国法律职业资格者优先。

具有创新项目挖掘、专利性评估及自由实施（FTO）分析经验。
- 具备良好的中英文沟通能力。
- 具有海外学习或工作经历者优先，欧洲经历尤佳。
- 具备良好的跨职能协作能力，能够与研发、产品管理、高级管理层及外部专利代理机构高效合作。

Associate IP Manager
Join our Corporate IP Group! You will work at the interface between Research & Development and external patent attorneys while taking care of IP issues with a focus on patents and designs in the digital dentistry and dental implantology areas of the Straumann Group. You will be part of an international team of qualified patent attorneys responsible for the IP management of the Straumann Group.

Key Responsibilities
This role reports to the Head of IP, Greater China, and actively interfaces with the Research & Development teams across the Straumann Group by identifying patentable inventions and potential conflicts with third-party rights in the assigned technical fields.
Responsible for the global patent and design portfolio in the assigned areas of digital dentistry and dental implantology, including the creation, prosecution, maintenance, and protection of IP rights in collaboration with external attorneys.
Tasks

Evaluate invention disclosures and initiate the drafting and filing of patent applications

Manage the growing IP portfolio regarding drafting, filing, prosecuting and defending the IP rights in the different countries

Cooperate with external patent attorneys in China and abroad

Monitor the IP landscape by analyzing competitors and other third-party rights, and evaluating third-party patent portfolios

Partner with the Innovation Team to support early-stage external innovation scouting and evaluation, and provide IP support for selected R&D and M&A projects

Prepare and evaluate patent searches

Analyze intellectual property risks and prepare patent opinions for research projects (freedom to operate)

Promote awareness of the importance of patent protection and foster a patent culture

Support compliance with IP processes and deliver IP Academy training to enhance IP awareness across the organization

Support the IP team regarding patent litigation and other IP related litigation in China
Profile
-
Bachelor’s degree or above in a science or engineering discipline is required, preferably in electrical engineering, with an understanding of mechanical and digital aspects of modern dentistry

Solid understanding of technology in combination with the ability to communicate with different teams, manage multiple tasks and priorities
-
2–6 years of professional IP experience in an in-house IP function and/or a patent firm

Chinese Patent Bar qualification is required, Legal Bar qualification is a plus

Experience with innovation harvesting, patentability assessment, and freedom-to-operate analysis

Good Command of Chinese and English

Working or study experience outside China, preferably in Europe, is a plus

Ability to work collaboratively with developers, product managers, senior management, and external patent attorneys
