This position reports to:

Service Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Presenting and selling services to current clients, including service agreement, training, spare parts and upgrade project etc.
Establishing & maintaining effective customer relationships on all levels to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of ABB service offerings, and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Achieving sales target in term of value and profit.
Preparing presentations, proposals, quotation and sales contracts
Providing overall rolling forecast monthly and sales plan weekly. Performing other relative duties as assigned.
Enhancing of regional customer coverage rate and the degree of satisfaction.
Identifying opportunities with existing and potential customer within defined account customers and make plans for service sales actions.

Qualifications for the role

3-5 years of work experience in technical sales, sales experience in automatic, electrification, driver, DCS control system, mechanical equipment in mining industry.
Strong sales competency with digital capability & knowledge.
Knowledge in computer skills, including Office, PPT etc.
Bachelor’s degree with major in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Must have good interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
Result driven, strong interpersonal and communication skills, be good at team work.
Able to frequently travel for customer visit and presentation.

The Process Industries Division serves the mining, minerals processing, metals, cement, pulp and paper, battery manufacturing, and food and beverage, as well as their associated service industries. The Division brings deep industry domain expertise coupled with the ability to integrate both automation and electrical systems, increase productivity and reduce overall capital and operating costs for customers. For mining, metals and cement customers, solutions include specialized products and services, as well as total production systems. The Division designs, plans, engineers, supplies, installs and commissions integrated electrical and motion systems, including electric equipment, drives, motors, high power rectifiers and equipment for automation and supervisory control within a variety of areas including mineral handling, mining operations, aluminum smelting, hot and cold steel applications and cement production. The offering for the pulp and paper industries includes control systems, quality control systems, drive systems, on-line sensors, actuators and field instruments. Digitalization solutions, including collaborative operations and augmented reality, help improve plant and enterprise productivity, and reduce maintenance and energy costs.
