Job Description:
We are seeking a highly talented Sales Analyst to help drive our global and regional sales programs. The Sales Analyst will create and perform complex energy and financial models, generate quotations, and prepare comprehensive proposals based on technical requirements, project economics, and financial information obtained through a variety of channels.
The role will utilize CRM tools to provide the team with a consistent and accurate view of sales activity. The Sales Analyst will work closely with Global Sales, Project Engineering, Logistics, Operations, Product Management, and Finance teams to help ensure that Nextpower consistently exceeds customer expectations.
· Develop and maintain financial, commercial, and sales modeling tools.
· Coordinate sales proposals and generate customer quotations.
· Track sales activities and opportunity data using Salesforce.com and other CRM tools.
· Maintain and update revenue forecasts on a weekly basis.
· Manage CRM reporting, data quality, process improvements, and system modifications.
· Generate sales reports and presentations for a wide variety of stakeholders.
· Create and maintain sales models, ensuring positive contribution margin across Nextpower sales opportunities.
· Work closely with the Global Sales and Business Development teams on creative deal structuring and bid strategy.
· Work closely with Marketing and Product Management to provide input on new products and customer needs.
· Continually streamline, standardize, and improve proposal templates, bankability binders, and client presentations.
· Analyze orders and quotations to assess win rates, key market segments, value proposition effectiveness, and lead sources.
· MBA or advanced degree in a business or technical field preferred.
· 1–3 years of experience in sales analysis, financial analysis, business development, and/or financial modeling.
· Solar, renewable energy, or power industry experience is a plus.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Experience with CRM tools; Salesforce.com experience is preferred.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
