Job Description

This position is reporting to Safran Purchasing Asia Pacific, managing the non-production purchasing for Group entities in the Region.
In this global context with internal and external interfaces, the missions will be to monitor and manage the quality and logistics performance of a panel of suppliers.
You will therefore be in charge of defining and managing the monitoring plan, according to the risk analyzes that you will carry out with the actors of the supplier relationship. You will plan and manage quality audits, load/capacity assessments and supplier assessments.
This will allow you in particular to enrich your industrial culture by discovering various manufacturing processes and activities. You will also be required to manage supplier action plans in order to improve and maintain performance. As such, you will highlight your ability to influence supplier management with full autonomy in the management of your priorities.
In the case of ramp-up of our production needs, you will be required to coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders the actions enabling us to achieve the suppliers' capacity objectives.
The 2nd part of the activity will be dedicated to the update of the department KPIs and work on the improvement of our Purchasing tools and organization.

Your main activities will be:

Manage the quality and logistics performance of a supplier portfolio in close coordination with the Purchasing, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
Participate in supplier evaluations during the supplier selection process. Assess supplier risk levels, define and implement the associated surveillance plans, including during ramp-up and ramp-down phases, new product introductions (NPI), and dual-source implementation.
Plan and lead annual supplier performance reviews with suppliers and Safran stakeholders.
Manage and continuously improve purchasing procedures by integrating Supplier Performance Management (SPM) activities.
Define and oversee supplier surveillance plans. Validate their implementation with the Purchasing and Supplier Quality teams. Review and approve risk assessments and associated action plans.
Plan, lead, and conduct supplier audits and assessments.
Consolidate supplier performance data. Ensure consistency of supplier performance measurements and share supplier performance dashboards.
Organize internal supplier performance review meetings. Coordinate and monitor corrective action plans.
Coordinate supplier performance reviews with the Supplier Performance Management teams at Safran Purchasing France and other regional organizations.
Update the department's key performance indicators (KPIs) on a weekly and monthly basis.
Coordinate with buyers to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

The position can be evolutive according to the needs and the evolution of the department.

Job Requirements

You hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Business, ideally with a specialization in Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, or Industrial Engineering, and are looking to develop your career in a demanding international environment.

You have at least two years of professional experience (including apprenticeships or graduate roles, in line with Chinese immigration requirements) in procurement, quality, manufacturing, industrialization, or supply chain. This experience has given you a solid understanding of industrial operations and supplier relationship management.

You have knowledge of:

Quality management and document control systems;
Supply chain management and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent);
Supplier performance management and/or industrial project management.

Comfortable working with data analysis tools, you are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Power BI would be a strong advantage. Your analytical mindset enables you to interpret performance indicators and formulate relevant recommendations.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, allowing you to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese would be an asset to facilitate communication with local suppliers.
