Position Summary
Hyatt is seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead digital product initiatives for the China market across customer-facing touchpoints, business operations tools, data-enabled channel management, and AI-enabled efficiency improvements.
This role will translate complex commercial, loyalty, marketing, channel, and operational needs into scalable product solutions, partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders, technology teams, data teams, and external vendors. The successful candidate will bring structured product thinking, strong ownership, and a practical AI-first mindset to identify, validate, and implement AI use cases that improve product discovery, data analysis, content operations, process automation, reporting, and business decision-making.
What You Will Do
- Lead end-to-end digital product initiatives for China-market customer touchpoints and business operations tools, from business problem definition through launch and post-launch optimization.
- Translate business requirements into clear product deliverables, including user journeys, business rules, functional scope, acceptance criteria, project plans, and decision records.
- Identify, assess, and implement practical AI-enabled solutions for use cases such as data summarization, content generation, user feedback analysis, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, and operational reporting.
- Optimize digital experiences related to membership, offers, booking or transaction journeys, content presentation, and customer engagement, balancing global standards with local market needs.
- Improve data, reporting, and monitoring capabilities that help business teams detect issues, understand performance, prioritize actions, and close operational gaps more efficiently.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders across Product, Technology, Design, Commercial, Loyalty, Marketing, Content, Operations, Data, and Legal/Compliance to align scope, feasibility, launch plans, and governance requirements.
- Manage product backlogs, project timelines, UAT, launch readiness, issue resolution, and post-launch reviews to ensure products and tools deliver measurable business value.
- Coordinate with external vendors and platform partners, define deliverables, monitor quality, manage risks, and ensure timely follow-through on enhancements or issue fixes.
- Use analytics, customer feedback, operational insights, and market understanding to generate product recommendations and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Apply appropriate governance for digital and AI-enabled work, including privacy, security, accuracy checks, brand consistency, compliance, and required human review.
