Review, validate and approve all change requests, permits, and documentation related to IT hardware work including installation, decommissioning, migrations, refreshes, and any other works that may have potential impact.
Manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers; approve work schedules, supervise on-site activities, and ensure deliverables meet client standards and contractual obligations.
Maintain strict compliance with physical security protocols and environmental controls (temperature, humidity, power redundancy) in all server room facilities.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records of hardware, software, and network components using designated tools (e.g., Patch Manager).
Drive the development, review, and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all server room activities.
Enforce adherence to client policies, industry best practices (e.g., ISO, TIA-942), and regulatory requirements governing data center operations.
Lead participation in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution to ensure client business continuity.
Collaborate closely with regional IT, facilities, and client teams to align operations with broader technical and strategic goals.
Stay current with emerging data center technologies, trends, and operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery.
