Position Summary
The position serves as a strategic partner to the Diabetes Franchise Head, driving key strategic transformation initiatives, business performance management, and operating model excellence to accelerate sustainable growth and execution effectiveness.
This role is responsible for shaping and advancing franchise-level strategic priorities, leading cross-functional transformation programs, establishing robust business operating mechanisms, and enabling data-driven decision making. The incumbent will work across Marketing, Sales, Medical, Market Access, Finance, and other key stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives are translated into measurable business outcomes.
The role is designed for a highly analytical and execution-oriented leader with strong consulting and transformation experience, capable of influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Franchise Strategic Transformation Initiatives
- Lead strategic transformation initiatives supporting the Diabetes Franchise growth agenda.
- Drive implementation of key business transformation priorities and operating model enhancements.
- Partner with Franchise Leadership Team to identify organizational and operational opportunities that improve effectiveness and agility.
- Establish governance mechanisms, milestones, and success measures to ensure transformation delivery.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and execution across stakeholders.
2. Drive Business Performance Management
- Develop and continuously optimize franchise business management and operating rhythm.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reviews.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify growth opportunities, risks, and performance gaps.
- Generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations for leadership decision-making.
- Support resource allocation and prioritization discussions to maximize business impact.
3. Advance Go-to-Market Excellence
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement and commercial effectiveness.
- Assess market dynamics, competitive trends, and emerging business opportunities.
- Support evolution of commercial execution and go-to-market approaches.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve execution quality and resource productivity.
- Translate business insights into practical recommendations and implementation plans.
4. Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead high-impact strategic projects sponsored by the Franchise Head.
- Develop executive-level presentations and recommendations.
- Conduct strategic analyses covering market opportunities, growth scenarios, and business cases.
- Act as internal consultant on critical business challenges.
5. Leadership Influence Stakeholder Management
- Influence senior leaders across functions without direct authority.
- Build strong partnerships across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Finance, HR, and Business Excellence.
- Foster alignment and ownership of strategic priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on complex business issues.
Position Requirements
1.Education / Professional Certificate: Bachelor’s degree (Master or MBA is plus)
2.Working Experience
- 6 years working experience in strategic departments or consulting firm, experience in multinational pharma company is preferred
- Functional experience with strategy, operations, or equivalent expertise areas
3.Professional knowledge and skill
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and business acumen
- Excellent communication skills, data analytics, and professional proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Capable to collaborate with BU internal and cross-functional stakeholders
- Capable to work in complicated environments and influence others to achieve results
- Be agile and open-minded with high compliance mindset
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin and English
