The Sino-French Institute is a joint educational initiative established by Chengdu University of Information Technology (CUIT) and ECAM LaSalle, one of France’s leading engineering schools. The Institute delivers English-taught engineering programmes that combine the strengths of French engineering education with China’s rapidly developing innovation ecosystem. We are looking for a passionate Lecturer who enjoys sharing knowledge, supporting students in their academic development, and contributing to an innovative international learning environment. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate engineering students and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the programme through engaging, project based learning.

Salary
The following salary range is offered, based on the candidate's level of experience and demonstrated skills in the areas mentioned above => 17,000 to 22,000 RMB/month (gross salary)

Main Responsibilities
As a member of the academic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in programming and computer science fundamentals. Your duties will include:
✓ Teaching C Programming to Bachelor students through lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions.
✓ Delivering courses in English in accordance with the programme curriculum.
✓ Preparing teaching materials, laboratory exercises and learning resources.
✓ Designing practical programming assignments and project-based activities.
✓ Assessing students through examinations, assignments and practical evaluations.
✓ Providing academic guidance and mentoring to students.
✓ Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching practices.
✓ Participating in programme meetings, examination boards and other academic activities.
✓ Working collaboratively with an international teaching team.
Courses
The successful candidate will primarily teach subjects including:
✓ C Programming
✓ Programming Fundamentals
✓ Algorithms and Problem Solving
✓ Data Structures (introductory level)
✓ Software Development Fundamentals
✓ Programming Laboratory Sessions
Depending on experience, additional introductory computer science courses may be assigned.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should possess:
✓ PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related discipline.
✓ Strong programming skills in C Language pr
✓ Solid knowledge of:
✓ Previous university teaching experience is necessary – minimum of 3 years.
✓ Experience supervising practical laboratory sessions and student projects.
✓ Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to undergraduate students.
✓ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
✓ Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.
Language Requirements
Excellent command of English (minimum CEFR C1 preferred; B2 minimum).
Previous experience teaching in English is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
✓ Embedded Systems - Linux Programming – Microcontrollers -Software Development Projects
✓ Git and collaborative software development
✓ Project-Based Learning (PBL)
