As a Portfolio Specialist in our Flavours Division, you will dynamically optimize China collection and improve its usage by leveraging existing flavours, resources, capabilities and proactively filling our product gaps, and increase the Win Rate of Gold & non-Gold project. In this exciting role you will:

BUILDING: Build the Sweet Food Service Collections

Identify the Sweet Food Service portfolio opportunities in alignment with the country commercial strategy

Ensures alignment of Sweet Food Service collections with today’s Food service market needs through portfolio review and icon upgrade processes

Works closely with technical, sales, marketing and pricing to build the suitable collections that fit market needs and contain the Best of Givaudan

Acts as the local flavour expert in food service segment

PROMOTION: Promote the collections internally and externally

Structures and communicates collection updates and efficiently promote icon capability on a regular base to the technical and commercial teams

Supports the marketing and sales external promotions

SELECTION & SUBMISSION: Select flavours for reactive briefs

Responsible for the flavour selection for reactive projects of any size, by leveraging the collections

Builds the Value Proposition of submission for selected projects together with the account manager and technical team

Is responsible for the approval of flavours outside the collections
You?

Your professional profile includes:

BSc or equivalent in Food Science and Technology or related subject

At least 5 years experience in Applications or Technologist in Food Service industry, or product developer from the food & beverage industry. Food Service industry background is preferred.

Good written and verbal communication skills (Local language + English)

Sensitive to market insight, and Business mindset is needed

Has passed the evaluator/sensory screening test -or- has evaluation experience in the flavour / fragrance industry

Proficiency in common PC applications (MS word, Excel, ppt)
