About the role:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for operating, correctly and properly, the flatwork ironers, sheet spreader and other miscellaneous equipment as in the Laundry Department. Also maintain hotel linen in a good condition and enough par stock.
What you will do
Operate, wax and clean the ironer, feed sheets, table linen napkins, pillow cases and huck towels in the ironer
Sort the food and beverage linen and rooms’ linen, fold towels, rugs and hang robes
Shake sheets, table linens and pillow cases and keep stain or torn separate from other loads.
Report any deficiencies or equipment malfunctions immediately to manager
Familiar with linen sizes and classifications
Account daily for all “outgoing” and “incoming linens”
What you bring:
At least one year experience working in hotel housekeeping
Strong organization skills and an eye for attention to detail
Strong communication skills
