Job Title: HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) COORDINATOR

Summary/Objective: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administration that will support recruiting, company culture, and communications for the business.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Maintain the associate recognition program, monitor and restock supplies, and track usage.

Create and update associate security badges when necessary.

Work with outside vendors to setup events inside Samtec (Blood Donations, Samtec Bizarre, Book fairs, etc.)

Distribute birthday and anniversary announcements to all associates.

Process all letters and passports for associates visiting other Samtec locations.

Administer Education Assistance Program, enrollment, audit invoices, and monitor grades.

Assist in orientation training of new associates.

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
The responsibilities as defined are intended to serve as a general guideline for this position.- Associates may be asked to perform additional tasks depending on strengths and capabilities.
Required Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources field.

Must have great organizational and time management skills.

Communication skills are essential as this person will be interacting with different levels of the business on a daily basis.

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.

Experience can be substituted in lieu of educational requirements.
Training Required:

On the job training as appropriate.
