Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of internal communication strategy and editorial plan
- Create compelling stories featuring people, business and team collaboration to reinforce company culture and business alignment
- Manage and optimize internal communication channels
- Plan and execute internal campaigns, events, and engagement initiatives
- Lead CSR project execution, including vendor management, partnership development, and internal volunteerism mechanisms
- Act as a communications partner to cross-functional and plant teams, providing consultation and support on communication needs
Experiences/Education - Required
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Excellent storytelling and content development skills in both English and Chinese.
- Good visual communication skills and design sense
- Solid project and event management capability with attention to detail and delivery.
- Familiarity with internal communication tools (e.g., SharePoint, HTML email etc.).
- Fast leaner and creative mindset.
- Multi-tasking ability, knowing how to prioritize.
- Collaborative work style and organizational savvy.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor or above degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, English or related field.
- Over 5 years’ experience in communications.
- Proven experience in internal communications in a corporate environment.
- Experience in multinational company is preferred.
- Experience in CSR and community engagement programs is a plus.
