State Street Investment Management is looking for the Business Analyst for our China office , as part of Information Technology organization.
This position will be responsible for business analysis and solution delivery for investment management applications and platforms, working closely with senior analysts, global business stakeholders, and technology teams. The role focuses on capturing business needs, documenting clear requirements, and supporting testing and delivery activities to help ensure solutions align with business priorities, operational efficiency, and risk standards.
The candidate should have working knowledge of asset management business and applications , with exposure to areas such as Client and Product information systems, Marketing and Sales applications, Investment Product Data Services .

What You Will Be Responsible For
Perform business analysis activities for investment management applications, assisting with requirement capture, analysis, and documentation to meet evolving business and operational needs.
Partner with global business stakeholders (e.g., Product Development, Global Funds Management, Digital Marketing , ETF Specialist ) to understand business objectives and help translate them into well-defined requirements, under the guidance of analyst manager.
Support business solution delivery for applications such as ssga.com, Fund Administration Tools, Fund Data Services, and digital Investment Tools, under the guidance of analyst manager .
Contribute to Business a s Usual (BAU) support activities, including issue triage, impact assessment, and coordination of resolution or workaround solutions.
Maintain accurate documentation, including business requirements, use cases, process flows, data definitions, and supporting analysis artifacts.
Follow risk, compliance, and control expectations, and promptly raise potential issues or risks to senior team members.
Foundational knowledge of asset management business and familiarity with investment management concepts such as products, performance, risk, and client data.
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations by clarifying scope, priorities, and trade-offs, and confirming decisions and outcomes in a timely manner.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Bring strong hands-on AI capability and passion to help shape and accelerate AI-enabled SDLC practices for the Business Analysis team, including identifying practical AI use cases, improving requirements quality, supporting delivery productivity, and collaborating with development leaders on AI adoption.
Education & Preferred Qualifications/Skills
3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, financial services, asset management, data analytics, or technology-enabled business roles.
Experience supporting requirement analysis, documentation, testing support, or delivery support for business or IT initiatives.
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems development, and software development lifecycle and Application integration patterns including Restful API, Web Services, Event driven architecture, Database Views, etc.
