- Responsible for incoming material quality management to ensure that incoming materials meet company and customer quality requirements.
- Establish, improve, and continuously optimize IQC inspection standards and inspection processes (including AQL standards, inspection specifications, and work instructions, etc.)."
- Implements the quality control plan for supplier quality management activities to meet plant goals
- Organize and supervise IQC inspection activities, and handle incoming material abnormalities, including nonconforming product review, MRB disposition, returns, and concession acceptance.”
- Gathers and reports supplier performance metrics including monitoring, trending, and analysis for the plant. (monthly ppm defects (internal, external and total), supplier spill incidents & speed of response, and cost-of-non-conformance (CONC).
- Lead the analysis and improvement of supplier incoming quality issues, drive corrective actions with suppliers, and track the effectiveness of improvements.
- Participate in new material introduction (NPI) and the control of critical components, and provide quality support and recommendations
- Responsible for the daily management of the IQC team, including personnel training, performance evaluation, and capability development
- Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, SQE, Production, and other departments to drive upstream quality improvement and reduce supplier DPPM/LRR"
- College degree or above; majors in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials, or related fields are preferred.
- At least 5 years of quality-related experience in the electronics manufacturing or telecom power supply industry, including a minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an IQC
- Supervisor or in an equivalent management role
- Proficient in incoming material inspection processes and AQL sampling standards;
- Familiar with inspection methods for common electronic components, mechanical/structural parts, and outsourced processed parts
- Proficient in the use of quality tools, including the Seven QC Tools, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and MSA, and capable of driving improvement actions for incoming material quality issues.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills for procedure issue.
- Possess strong cross-functional and supplier communication and coordination skills
