North Leaf Business Corp. (Canada / UAE) is looking for a reliable Sourcing Assistant & Interpreter to accompany our team during a sourcing trip across China.
This is a temporary position for our upcoming trip, with the possibility of becoming a long-term remote position based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Accompany our team throughout the sourcing trip in China.
- Translate between Mandarin and English during factory meetings.
- Help plan the most efficient travel route between factories.
- Arrange factory appointments before our arrival.
- Assist us in sourcing:
- 100% cotton hotel towels
- Cloth napkins
- 100% cotton fabrics
- Natural mulberry silk
- Premium disposable paper napkins
- Help compare quality, pricing, MOQs, and production lead times.
- Assist with negotiations and communication with suppliers.
- Verify that suppliers are genuine manufacturers and help review business licenses and company information.
- Help coordinate contracts, samples, and follow-up with factories.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Willing to travel with us between different cities in China.
- Well organized, professional, and reliable.
- Previous sourcing experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of China's textile or hospitality supply industry is a strong advantage.

- 协助比较产品质量、价格、MOQ（最小起订量）及交货周期。
- 协助商务谈判及与工厂沟通。
- 核实供应商是否为真实生产厂家，并协助审核营业执照及相关资质。
- 协助跟进样品、合同及采购流程。
任职要求
- 普通话流利，并具备良好的英语沟通能力。
- 愿意陪同我们前往中国不同城市出差。
- 工作认真、责任心强、善于沟通。
- 有采购、翻译或供应链相关经验者优先，但不是必须。
- 熟悉中国纺织行业或酒店用品行业者更佳。
