Les Modes Corwik Collections is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance & Production Co-Ordinator to join our team in China. This individual will serve as our eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring our garment production is executed according to our quality standards, production schedules, and approved factory list.
The successful candidate will work independently, traveling to our manufacturing facilities to verify production progress, monitor quality, and provide transparent, accurate reporting directly to our headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate each factory's production capacity before order placement to ensure it can meet delivery commitments.
- Assess the factory's sewing lines, workforce, machinery, and daily production output.
- Verify that the factory has sufficient capacity to handle our orders without subcontracting.
- Confirm that production is taking place at our approved factories only.
- Verify that fabric has been received before production begins.
- Confirm that cutting starts on the dates committed by the factory.
- Ensure garments are being produced according to approved tech packs, patterns, workmanship standards, and construction requirements.
- Monitor production during cutting, sewing, pressing, and finishing.
- Identify quality issues early and work with factory management to implement corrective actions.
- Verify production schedules and immediately report any delays or concerns.
- Take detailed photos and videos during every factory visit.
- Submit same-day reports in English with findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Immediately report any unauthorized subcontracting or factory changes.
- Attend inline inspections and pre-final inspections when required.
- Work closely with our Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure on-time delivery and consistent product quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in apparel production, quality assurance, merchandising, or factory management.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
- Experience with women's apparel is highly preferred.
- Excellent understanding of garment construction, workmanship standards, and quality control.
- Experience conducting factory audits, inline inspections, and production monitoring.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently between factories.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
