Your primary focus is to partner with the Director of Business Development to identify new business opportunities focused on Creative Services. You engage new business leads all the way through the pre-sales to the closing process into a seamless handoff with our internal Creative team.
As a natural salesperson, you effortlessly close new business opportunities through outbound sales and are highly skilled at lead generation. You have a hunter mentality; you are beyond resourceful and extremely goal driven.
You are a confident presenter and will regularly support the Director of Business Development with large-scale RFPs, sales projects and you regularly get to travel to represent the Channel Bakers brand and prospect at relevant conferences.

Minimum 2+ years of Creative Services or Advertising sales experience in a fast-moving, client-facing environment

Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred.

Proven track record in a Business Development, Sales, or B2B capacity

Highly skilled across all Business Development activities (lead generation, lead qualification, fostering new relationships and deepening existing ones etc.)

A skilled negotiator and can confidently and competently close business

Experience of Creative Services preferred; understanding the full cycle of Creative Service – from the early concept stages through to production is a significant advantage.

Strong analytical and qualitative skills - numbers don’t scare you!

Advanced negotiation and project management skills are required

Robust organization and prioritization skills and consistently follow up all open matters to close.

Proficient user of standard office software (MS Office, G Suite, etc.). Intermediate or advanced Excel skills are an advantage.

Work closely with internal Creative Services teams and the relevant parties to minimize issues from close to the onboarding process

Use HubSpot to manage client interaction, outbound efforts, reporting, forecasting, and inquiries.

Work with the Director of Business Development to define sales segmentation for the Business Development Executive to manage new prospects autonomously

Achieve and exceed sales goals as defined by the Leadership Team

Maintain validity of any necessary or mandated platform or partner certifications that are required of your role

Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required

Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally within Channel Bakers and other key stakeholder
