For our Test & Certification Engineer team, we are looking for a Test & Certification Engineer on MEC direction to help us drive the convertor product testing business within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.
You'll make an impact by
- Preparing the test plan of convertor product according to the product's feature description.
- Acquiring test resources and reserving the test equipment.
- Commissioning the equipment under test in the convertor drive system.
- Executing the convertor and optional accessory part type test, including mechanical, electrical, and climatic tests.
- Documenting the type test process and results.
- Cooperating with the certification procedures.
- Participating in the type test review.
Your defining qualities
- Bachelor's degree or above in electrical, electronic, motor, or control field.
- Fluency in oral and written English (CET 4 or above).
- Basic knowledge of ISO 17025 lab operation.
- Basic knowledge of IEC61800-5-1.
- Application knowledge of Siemens products (e.g., convertor, PLC) is a plus.
- Competence in mechanical, electrical, and climatic test operations and skill in operating related test equipment is a plus.
- Possession of a low voltage electrician certificate is a plus. Otherwise, the certification should be obtained within half a year after entry.
