- Ensure Global Product Innovation is recognized as a technically reliable, flexible, innovative, and customer‑oriented department.
- Enable data‑driven product and process development.
- Apply advanced statistical methods to analyze production and product data.
- Shares insights and standards within the KL Group to support harmonization.
- Keep supervisors informed of key project progress and unusual events.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of internal and third‑party data in line with Need‑to‑Know principles.
- Ensure effective cooperation and information flow with other departments.
- Maintain external contacts with universities, institutes, and partners.
- Independently manage projects in statistics, data science, and AI.
- Evaluate and clearly communicate results.
- Act as a technical business partner for IT.

- Master’s degree or above in natural sciences (chemistry, physics, mathematics, or a related field), with strong expertise in statistical methods.
- Strong programming skills (Python/R).
- Knowledge of chemical analytics and organic chemistry.
- Experience in cheminformatics, materials informatics, generative AI, and machine learning; familiarity with relational databases (e.g. SQL) and simulation techniques.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a team player;
- Structured and goal‑oriented work style.
- Fluent English – oral and written.
- Ability to explain complex matters,willingness to travel.
