What You Will Do
- Guide / coach suppliers to achieve zero defects, Quality Notification improvement, and decrease in Cost of Poor Quality
- Conduct Quality Management System audits, process audits, and FMEA/Control Plan reviews. Document audit report including findings. Monitor and review supplier's corrective actions for effectiveness, and ensure the completion of corrective actions on time
- Support Molex Plant Supplier Quality on major quality containment and failure analysis
- Interface with customers as required to address quality issues related to supplier products. Timely response to customer issues by deploying appropriate containment actions and / or corrective actions. Monitor supplier 8D responses for effectiveness
- Collaborating with Product Development Teams, Sourcing Engineers and Advance Supplier Quality to assure flawless launch and supplier quality assurance
- Support Category Management team to help plan supplier business reviews
- Utilizes SAP and other pertinent data sources to analyze and drive systemic improvement throughout supply chain
- Provide support to other Supplier Quality functions as required and/or assigned by team leadership
- Execute Supplier Development including quality and on-time delivery improvement
- Coordinate supplier Process Change Notifications
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degrees in wire, cable & connector engineering, electronic engineering or science discipline.
- 5+ years' experience including strong process knowledge in Supplier Quality, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and/or Product Engineering.
- Practical experience in the execution of quality system and process audits.
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
- Certified IATF 16949 Lead Auditor or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days.
- Certified VDA 6.3 Process Auditor or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days
- Practical experience with statistical methods and problem-solving tools (8D, RCCA, Fishbone, SPC, etc.)
- Familiar with quality tools, such as FMEA, Control Plan, etc.
- Solid experience as a Quality Engineer in automotive or other regulated industries
- Familiar with Manufacturing Quality Management
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated fluency in English (oral and written)
- Ability to travel up to 50%
What Will Put You Ahead
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
- Expertise in SAP
- Additional language skills are a plus
- Certified ISO 13485 Auditor for medical products
