Key Accountabilities
- Development of the manufacturing process to use the equipment and ensure that all equipment, processes, and methodologies comply with applicable standards, company policy, and all Health and Safety Laws, Acts, and Regulations
- Generate machine qualification checklist and manage to install, commission, and start-up equipment balancing speed and safety
- Apply technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling, and assembly fixtures
- Generate and maintain documentation, including machine and process specifications, drawings, WI, BOM, routings, PFMEA, control plan, process flow chart
- Monitor and reduce process variation using techniques such as SPC, MSA, GRR, DoE, Five Whys (5W), and Eight Disciplines (8D).
- Analyze production to understand manufacturing uptime, availability, and reliability metrics-yield, OEE, cycle time, quality, and investigate bottlenecks to identify root cause and countermeasures to maximize throughput
- Design and modify the layout of the production workstations for product flow, waste reduction, ergonomics, and efficiency, utilizing lean manufacturing best practices
- Coordinate continuous improvement measures to ensure that project lessons learnt are captured and knowledge is transferred across the team and organization.
- Identify and drive cost reduction programs
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive the PPAP and product validations to the successful product launch

Key Qualifications
- University degree or above
- Good at AutoCAD, MS software
- Must possess process engineering skills (process development/improvement, troubleshooting, data analysis, flow optimization, root cause analysis, etc.)
- Strong team working skills, especially skilled at working with direct labor to understand challenges and work on developing optimal solutions using structured methods.
- lean manufacturing, project management experience would be a plus

- At least 8 years in a manufacturing environment
