Job Description
System Requirements Expertise: Proven experience in requirements engineering for complex embedded systems, with expertise in breaking down system-level needs into detailed, testable software requirements.
Automotive Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive software, particularly in power electronics.
System & Architecture Understanding: Solid comprehension of system and software architecture principles. Ability to read and challenge architectural documents to ensure they are implementable and sound.
Core Competencies: Good working knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262), automotive diagnostics (OBD), and development processes like Automotive SPICE (A-SPICE).
Analytical Problem-Solver: A structured and methodical thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of ensuring technical precision and clarity across different engineering disciplines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Power Electronics, Automation, Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
3+ years of automotive industry background in electronic control (ECU), with preference for candidates having experience with energy management / power management products.
Proven ability to capture, analyze, and manage customer and system requirements. Experience in creating System Requirements Specification (SRS) and maintaining traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
Deep understanding of power electronics systems (inverters, DC/DC converters), energy management strategies, and system-level interactions within automotive electronic control systems.
Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, DNG), version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN), and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Enterprise Architect).
Familiarity with automotive standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262 functional safety) and their impact on requirements engineering processes.
Strong communication skills to work with customers, cross-functional teams (software, hardware, safety), and suppliers.
Fluent in English as a working language, capable of writing technical documents, participating in technical reviews, and communicating in meetings effectively.
