This position take responsibility of Model based Design Software Platform for next Gen Product and system , as well as developing HIL Test system based on Speedgoat to improve software qualifications efficiency and Test coverage .

Position Overview
MBD Sr Project Engineer , work closely with Electronics & Electrical Systems product development organization. This position involves working closely with several other functions including Hardware,Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability and Regulatory. The ideal candidate will be an technical expert with a passion for problem solving and debugging.

- Design and Develop power electronic software and specifications for motor controls for power tools &Outdoor products
- Conduct motor control MIL simulation and test in MATLAB . Including various motor control algorithm +Motor, asl well as lithium-ion battery system.
- Generate application level embedded code from Model based design , support Matlabl unit testing and coverage testing.
- Expedite Motor control design development by using Speedgoat test system as a powerful and flexible prototype (RCP) of controller .
- Lead HIL Test System Develop based on Speedgoat , Co-work with Motor&Hardware engineers to setup digital power HIL twin of Motor/PowerStage/Load running in Speedgoat, thus Test and verify embedded controllers SW with hardware in loop Testing more Efficiently .
- Build verification and validation environment (HIL ,SIL ,MIL) to meet Model based Design test goals
- Implement and validate electronic designs through test and matlab simulation work.
- Develop software verification and validation procedures that include unit and integration testing.
- Help leadership in achieving cost, performance and quality objectives of all related electronic systems, components, and sub-assemblies.
- Develop solutions for electronic system related issues as a member of a project team.
- Assure that appropriate documentation is maintained for work performed.
- Translate customer requirements into software specifications.
- Analyze and reach sound decisions in complex technical situations.

Employee Specifications
- Bachelor Degree from accredited electrical or automation engineering college , Master degree is nice to have
- 7+ years of experience in research/product development of embedded firmware
- Design MBD(Model based Design) Embedded Software Platform for Power Tool Product
- Good at MBD MIL ,PIL ,SIL and Test Automation
- Motor Control knowledge on both FOC and Trapezoidal control
- Extensive knowledge of writing and debugging embedded microcontrollers in C/C++, Code Generation and BSP/HAL
- Experience with closed loop control and feedback systems for BLDC/PMSM motors, be familiar with the Sensorless, FOC algorithm is required.
- Experience with motor control techniques, including field-oriented control and sensored or sensorless control. Experience with closed loop control and feedback systems for AC and DC motors.
- Familiar with software development processes and controls (static analysis, version control, unit testing, bug tracking).
- Ability to generate and evaluate creative/innovative ideas and inspire others to do so.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence the organization and to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Ability to handle 2-3 concurrent projects.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
